Custom Trip Planning

Comprehensive planning for an individual journey, shaped around your priorities from beginning to end. Depending on your trip, this may include destination research, accommodations, transportation, eligible airfare, activities, dining recommendations, and itinerary design. Every recommendation is selected with your preferences, pace, and vision in mind.

Accommodation & Experience Planning

Ideal for travelers who already know where they are going but would like thoughtful help choosing where to stay and what to experience. I can research and recommend accommodations, tours, activities, dining, and special touches suited to your travel style.

Itinerary Design

A clear, beautifully organized itinerary that brings the details of your journey together. Your itinerary may include confirmed reservations, daily plans, transportation information, important travel details, and thoughtfully paced recommendations, giving you an easy guide to follow while you travel.

Your Planning Journey

1. Complimentary Discovery Call

We’ll begin with a complimentary 30-minute discovery call to discuss the trip you have in mind, your travel style, priorities, budget, preferences, and the type of support you are looking for.

This conversation gives us an opportunity to determine whether we are a good fit and allows me to understand the scope and complexity of your journey.

2. Customized Proposal & Planning Fee

Following our call, I’ll provide a customized proposal outlining the scope of services, planning fee, and level of support included.

My Atlas & Aura does not use one standard planning fee for every trip. A straightforward getaway should not carry the same fee as a multi-city international journey, group vacation, cruise, or highly detailed milestone trip.

Your planning fee is based on the time, research, expertise, coordination, and support your trip requires. Factors may include the number of travelers and destinations, trip length, transportation needs, itinerary detail, special requirements, and overall complexity.

You will know the fee and exactly what it includes before any work begins. Planning fees are non-refundable and are due once you approve your proposal.

3. Thoughtful Planning

Once your proposal is approved and the planning fee is paid, I’ll begin researching and shaping your trip around your preferences, priorities, budget, and vision.

Depending on the agreed scope, this may include accommodations, transportation, select airfare, cruises, experiences, dining recommendations, itinerary design, and other meaningful details.

Rather than overwhelming you with endless possibilities, I’ll present a thoughtful selection of well-matched options and explain the differences that matter.

4. Your Journey Comes Together

Once you have reviewed the recommendations and made your selections, I’ll coordinate the travel components included in your proposal and bring the details together into a clear, beautifully organized plan.

Before departure, you’ll receive the information, reminders, and guidance included in your service. I’ll also remain available for the level of travel support outlined in your proposal.

* Airfare Planning & Booking

My Atlas & Aura can research and book certain eligible airfare, including select economy and business-class flights with participating airlines, as well as some private charter arrangements.

Not every airline, route, fare type, or ticket is available for advisor booking. In some cases, I may provide flight research and recommendations while you complete the purchase directly.

Whether airfare research or booking is included will be clearly outlined in your customized proposal.

Planning Details & Travel Support

Every journey is different, and your planning fee should reflect the trip you are actually taking.

After your complimentary discovery call, you will receive a customized proposal outlining the scope, fee, and services included. You will know exactly what your planning includes before any work begins.

Airfare Planning & Booking

My Atlas & Aura can research and book select airfare, including select economy and business-class flights with participating airlines, as well as some private charter arrangements.

Not every airline, route, fare type, or ticket is available for advisor booking. In some cases, I may provide flight research and recommendations while you complete the purchase directly.

Whether airfare research or booking is included will be clearly outlined in your customized proposal.

Travel Support

Travel support is provided according to the scope outlined in your proposal and service agreement.

Standard support hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central Time. During those hours, I am available to assist with urgent travel disruptions related to travel arrangements included in your planning services.

Before departure, you will receive clear instructions for contacting me outside standard support hours in the event of a serious and time-sensitive travel disruption. Routine questions, minor inconveniences, amenity concerns, and matters that can reasonably wait will be addressed during standard support hours.

Depending on the situation, travelers may also need to contact the airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, travel insurance provider, or local emergency services directly.
